I know the problem with the LCD radio display has been discussed in detail here, but I wasn't able to find the post that mentioned anyrhing about an intermittent problem.

I loose a few pixels in CD mode for a few days, and then they return. It's always the same pixels, but the timing, weather condition is random.

Can this happen if the LCD ribbon is loose or the ribbon contacts are dirty?



This problem is more of an annoyance rather than a " must " fix .
