Default steering wheel question?

Guys,

is it possible to take the wood parts from one GS steering wheel and put them on another GS steering wheel? If so, how hard is it? has to be done by a pro? or can it be a DIY?

Thanks in Advance.

I don't understand why you would even attempt to do it that way. If you have the wood steering wheel, why not just substitute it for the leather one in your car instead of tearing both of them up. If its a question of different color leather, probably easier to replace the leather on the one with wood than put the wood parts onto the one with all leather. If you want a professional looking job (equal to or even better than OEM) contact American Stitches (use the search) take a look at the quality on their website. Cost with your wheel for conversion is just over $400.
