Question

Looking for Brushed aluminum, titanium, or a mixture of those and leather. Heavy = good

Any pics, where you go it, and how much would be great.

Here's one. I am waiting for a TRD or MOMO one but this will do for now.

where did you get the boot? Is it a custom one, or one edited from NSX? How much was it? Thanks!

btw, the TRD leather one with the TRD stitching one the side (like Martin Kraft's) is assymetrical, made for RHD vehicles. So it'll feel WEIRD on a LHD GS.

Check with who you're buying it from first. I believe that's how it is.

tiny,

so, you saw rick'y gs w/the equips....nice heh? simple 5 spoke, classy and elegant. the main thing about work equips i like is its FORGED 3-piece construction. plus, you get to custom oreder them so that there is room for break upgrades.

will

HI98GS...Pleeeease post info on the shift boot????

GS4Will....Yep, I was happy to see he posted pics...gives me a good idea of what to expect....Definitely alot more exotic than my SSR but still pretty simple....No bling-bling...just what I was expecting, cant wait to get them put on..
I saw a CL500 coupe on Sat. night, it had 20" Brabus wheels in chrome....looked awesome but too bling for my taste..Im glad I stayed with Silver...
Check my post on HI98GS thread about the SupraTT brakes for details on how I got the caliper refinished...Talk to you soon, Tiny

Default shift boot

tiny gs, globe CLK:
It is the NSX boot, any year will do, but I think buying the 99 boot is the cheapest. I got mine for about 60 bucks or so. regular price is about 140. I just know the guys at the parts counter at the local acura dealer and they get me a killer deal. If you are interested, I think I can get it for you. drop me a line. It is really easy to put in. I was surprised on how quickly I did it. took about 5 minutes.

I know how to take apart the wood and the console so installation shouldn't be hard. But is it an EXACT MATCH? No modification?

And does an aftermarket shiftknob fit nice with that boot? I'm thinking about a MOMO **** but don't know if it'll look right with the boot connected. How does the **** and the boot connect?

I'll drop you a line when I've decided. Thanks.

PM me and I'll give you the information you need. You don't need to take apart the whole console. It literally takes 5 minutes to do.
