At the time gas prices were retarted and i really didnt have the extra money to get the 430 but i really wish i did now... I cant stand lookin at all your v8's on here and then getting in my car lol... 2 things im really sorry my car doesnt have is the HIDs and the Nav...ML would be nice too....

Hind sight is always 20/20. Take solice in that you do have a Sports Design, not a lot of those around either.

in that case you swap the dead motor out for a jdm 2jz and we'll all be envious of you?

well i dunno...

i think the 6 is fine. has plenty low end power. up top its kinda weak. but i hardly ever get on it.

I have the v8, but dont drive fast at all. Its nice to have to open up every once and while on the freeway, but most of the time Im just cruising. For those of us that dont really drive fast, I suppose having the v8 is just nice for when and if you ever need that extra kick.

this is why in the 10 million threads that come and go asking 300 or 430 , most say 430

on the bright side, even though you sacrificed power, at least you have the beautiful charcoal exterior SD. They never made a V8 GS in that color.

The 300 and the 4x0 get pretty much the same gas mileage. I actually get better than my friend with his 300. There are lots of threads on this too.

im sooo thinking about trading my car in and getting a nice well kept 400 instead.

the value of my car versus buying a used gs400 is significant enough for me to take the plunge..

i can save a few thousand and put it towards more mods
