is or gs?

I have an '01 IS and an '00 GS4.
The IS is a very fun car to drive and drive hard and to me it really feels like it grabs the road better than the GS.
The GS on the other hand picks up where the IS leaves off in terms of luxury and power. All the little things I wish my IS had (ie all backlit one-touch pwr windows, lumbar support, memory seats, nav, telescoping steering wheel, bigger trunk space) are there and DAMN the V8 is silky smooth and powerful.
When comparing the GS3 and the IS3 though, I think I'd take a brand new IS3 over a Brand new GS3 just because of the lack of power and handling plus the added weight that the GS carries.

i have a gs400, and used to have an is300. you have to ask yourself, what do you want out of the car.
- fun to drive, good handling, small and compact, easy to drive, OR
- bigger larger more spacious, more comfortable and quieter, better insulation, more luxurious
the is300 is definitely a fun car to drive, it handles really well, but as i have said a lot of times, i really don't think it's a lexus, it's forced to be a lexus. a lot of typical lexus stuff are missing from the car and you can see it's forced to be one.
the gs300 is more refined, very comfortable and luxurious, but it doesn't have the kind of fun you will get with the is300 on the driving. no road feel, bad handling, larger and harder to turn, etc...
