The Biggest Compliment
Guys,
Was at a friends bosses house on Friday night and while I was inside this happened.
A woman and her husband who were guests at the party were leaving. Being that the Lex doesn't like to be left on the street - I had taken the liberty of parking in the driveway
And you know how you park, wheel a little turned to get the right stance. 
Anyway, as she was walking out she saw my car and apparently fell in love with it. She asked one of the guys who was standing outside if he knew who owned the car. He said no, and she told him if he found out who's car it was to give the person her card. She has said she would get rid of her new M Infiniti in a heartbeat for it
Well, word got around and my friend told me what happened. He gave me her card and told me to call her.
But, I wouldn't part with this car for anything. Well, that's a lie I would but I am not calling her!! I am sure she really wouldn't trade in her car for it but the fact that she said that and then left her business card
Preferring a 98 GS400 over an 06 M45 - priceless
Now if that isn't a compliment I don't know what is!

Great compliment. These cars do have style. I was flagged down in the local store parking by a gentleman wanting to know what kind of car this was. He loved it and couldn't believe it was an '01. I've only seen 2 other GS's here in Alaska on the road, though I know there are more. The dealership has 4 new ones on the lot. A fairly rare car here.

dude thats pretty sweet! man i got a flat tire on the way home from U of I yesterday (2.5 hours away) and i was pretty pO'ed but everything was made better when a couple guys in a honda civic passed me up, slowed down, beeped at me and gave the thumbs up, then sped away.
