I am looking for a reputable shop in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex where I can get some performance modifications done for my GS. I have been wanting to do something pretty dramatic for some time and am finally getting around to it. I want to significantly increase the overall horsepower and performance of the car. If you could recommend some initial mods to make and a shop in the Dallas area that won't steer me wrong, I would appreciate it!!

Jason, I live a couple miles north of downtown and have a 98 G4. You might want to check out www.swiftracing.com. They have an intake and ecu remap system from ~650-$850. I installed it on mine as have numerous others in this forum with great satisfaction. 30 ponies and 40 lbs of torque. And it sounds great. If you want to check it out I'm local.

Thanks Fever for the reply. I have already checked our Swift Racing's website and really like what I see. I guess my biggest deal is that I am not a gear head. I can buy it, but after that I'm fairly clueless as to installing the various components (as I said I'm a newbie). Unless you tell me its really easy to do, I would have to find someone or some shop who I can trust that can do the work on my behalf.

Jason, I love cars but am certainly not a gearhead. All you need is one or two friends and some patience. I promise you that you can do it.

ealmario..Thanks alot for the info. What is the name of the shop?? I will definitely use them.

By the way, I see you have the RMM exhaust. Any particular reason you chose it instead of Borla or Greddy?
