Tiny,

just finish reading some mags ads. the "new style" design on the equip wheels has that "option" of DDC rivets. you might want to check w/dave for the correct choice and pricing to see if that is what you were quoted for . so that you can give manaray the correct info as he tries to get you the best prices.

Will covered the other points...as for "bling-bling", a silver rim with a high polished/chrome lip looks classy. That's one of my favorite combos...and as will said, the SSR's were a great first pick, the Equips in 20 will look simply awesome!

Hopefully, your spring/shock setup is low enough...with 20's, you're car will be raised up a little more...you might need to go coilovers

Definitely hook up the pictures when you get them...

Oh yeah, hey, if you're not in a huge hurry to get them, let me see if I can get you a better price on them...PM with the price (and size and finish and offset) that you got and I'll see if I can beat it...
Sweet! Thanks again for the help...Well, I finally understand the difference between the "older" style and the "newer" style that Dave mentioned. I was confused in thinking that the DDC was a "new" or "old" style when it was a whole other design. The "older" style is a smaller (18" or 19" spoke) with a stepped lip to get to a 20" diameter. The "newer" style is utilizing the same spoke and lip diameter, so there is no step in the lip. (which seems like it would accentuate the lip more?) The DDC is very nice but its also only available in chrome right? Also, the DDC cost ALOT more than Im willing to pay for the slight difference in design. I actually like the accentuated plain lip more. Ill PM you the specifics, if you can try and hook me up on the cost it would be a huge help....I currently only know one source through which I can get these rims so I have not done any comparison shopping...ALL of my web surfing has only produced the WORK sight.(where the 20" is listed as 23,000 and doesnt say what finish it is) What is the current exchange rate? Thanks again for your time, much appreciated! Tiny

a "stepped" lip is know as a "normal" lip...the "straight" lip is know as a "reverse" lip...Some people like normal, some like reverse. I like either...my HRE's are "normal" lip...

The current exchange rate is: US$1 = JPY 125.169...

The price on Work's website is for a 20" x 7.5" is JPY 123,000 (not 23,000) which is US$982.70 each...so for a set, it's US$3930.80 (retail price)...but I don't know what finish that is...it's most likely silver...

Anyways, I'll try to get you a price ASAP...

Tiny,

DDC is available in any size and finish.(i just read thru the work site again). this option would cost ~$450-500/set on 18s.. so expect more for the 20s.
i am almost certain that Dave quoted you 20s in NON-DDC, silver finish at $3300, which is reasonable for 20s.

Manaray,

the 20x7.5 price you mentioned is the basic silver. No-DDC feature. also when you calculate the exchange rate, try to leave a little room. as you probably know that there is a slight diff between buy and sell rate. so financial instituitons can make money, according to them.

Hiro and i usually just use 120yen=$1 USD for the past several months.

Correct, that $3300 price was for the 20" Silver...Thats definitely the finish I prefer, also, there is only one finish available on the lip(polished) so polished it is.....Im not EVEN thinking about DDC, it would be much more than Im willing to fit the bill for. Remember, Ive already graduated from the Binno all the way to the Work. Thanks for the clarification on the different lip styles. I actually remember that being addressed on a previous thread a couple of months ago...Talk to soon, thanks, Tiny..
