Sorry to say that I have to let go of my baby. $3.20 a gallon, 170 miles per day and 24 mpg has pushed me over the edge. Next move is a VW TDi 38 mpg!

i hear ya buddy, i get 19mpg combined city/highway. Either something is wrong with my car or the gas sucks in central valley.

ive had numerous times where i was going to sell the GS, but each time something came up and put those plans out of commission. Now i'll just do a few mods and live with her til i graduate. the fuel costs are ridiculous though here in CA.

Honestly, if ur serious about it I'd go with a Civic or a Corolla. VW TDI is great on fuel but it is so gutless. Corolla or a Civic is drivable whereas TDI is almost too dangerously slow. It doesn't feel like it because of it's torque but it's super slow.

Sorry to see you go.

There are times I pine for my Camry.

Only when I'm buying gas, mind you. Never when I'm driving.

that BP is just gouging... there is no need for the gas to be at $6. The owner of that BP is lucky he doesnt live in Florida, or I would file a complaint with the Attorney General. In Florida, price gouging is REALLY illegal.

On the cape in MA gas is a solid $5 a gallon no matter what station....it's just not right.

sorry that you have to sell, but i think all us 400/430 owners know where you're coming from.

I, however, am just teaching my lead foot to become feather foot

170 miles a day is a long commute.

I just can't beleive it... 607 is crazy...Isn't there other refineries that we can get gas from? It just seems outragous... I feel bad for the turbo and supercharged guys.. Don't they burn more gas then us?

Anyway i hope it is short lived because I'd hate to see us selling off our cars....
