And since the JDM and USDM mirrors look identical, I'm sure it's a direct fit replacement. Unless Toyota has engineering consultants from Germany that believes NOTHING should ever be a direct replacement part.
They may look identical but they are not. The cars in Japan are RHD and the angles of the housings are different. The mirror part is also reversed. This is why TLW is hoping to be able to put the guts of the JDM ones into the US housings.
