Default No more mod planning...

Hi everyone! I've been MIA for a while due to my impending move. I've been gladly but unexpectedly accepted to pharmacy school!!!

So, since Uncle Sam will be paying my expenses for the next four years, and he'll want to be repaid, any and all mods and mod planning for my GS will have to cease/wait. In fact, in four years it'll probably be time to trade her in for a new GS, which is good and bad. I feel a little bittersweet about that due to all the planning I had made to bring out the potential of my GS3, and now it looks like that won't happen. However the bright side is the clear winner here, as I should be able to hopefully put something nice together in the future quicker than I could have with only a BS degree! So you folks with a hot ride better hang around to see me in the future!!!

So, some here don't know me, some won't care, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here who helped me out. I'm not leaving, just ending plans to mod my 2nd gen, and I'll be spending some time in the 3rd gen section for ideas/news now! And since I'll be moving to DC, I may well get to meet some more CL friends! Thanks everyone!

Congrats and good luck.

I assume you are joining one of the armed forces? My sister in law did the Air Force thing for her dental work. It is grueling but she seems to like the discipline. Some people may not like it but being single (at the time), she enjoyed being stationed at different places in the US and around the world.

In any case, don't be a stranger.

Thanks guys! Neo, no, I'm not joining the armed forces, just govt student loans (Stafford, I think). Dave, thanks! I'll try to make it. I know my mandatory orientation is somewhere in that same time frame, though, so that may conflict, but I hope not. If it becomes an annual event though, count me in!!!

LOL. When I saw "Uncle Sam will be paying my expenses", I assumed paid completely in exchange for years of "servitude" .

In any case, good luck with school.
