Default Weather Stripping

Ok, so i ordered the weather stipping at the bottom of my doors, cuz both the driver and passenger weather stripping was peeling back now and needed to be replaced. I realize it screws in, and i also realize that in order to get to it, you have to take off the panels on the outside of the doors. I found the 3 screw things holding that on. What else do i have to do to take these off. It was a little long to be yanking on, as i don't want to crack the paint or bend the panel in the middle. Anyone ever replace these?

do you need to take off the door cap to change it?

anyway, i know the door cap there are adhesive tape at the back to stick to the door panel of the car, so it's not going to be that easy to pop it off

That's exactly what i have to do. Should i just take it to the dealer to do it? Just in case something gets screwed up, they have to cover it and i don't have to go that route (could be costly).
