i am almost certain that each part on the car is replaceable. the find out: just call your nearast dealer for a quote. after you get the parts #s, write them down, adn call steve to see if he can get them at discount.

Help me understand.
According to your profile you have a 99 GS -- and the legends on the buttons are worn off?
Which specific buttons are you talking about? Radio controls? Heater/AC?
I'd like to help, but I don't think I understand the problem. And I'm having trouble understanding how they are worn off on such a new car. Mine's a 98 and they look brand new.
Could they just be dirty and the dirt is covering the lettering? Are the buttons worn smooth? Can you still see the shadow or the indentation of the lettering?

yes..i'm talking about the radio, a/c, navigation buttons...they are not dirty just been pressed on soo many f***ing times that the color is comming off..Just like on my 94 mazda 929
This is a lease right? From a Lexus dealer?
Before anything else I'd take it to the dealer to see if it's covered under warranty. I'd also have them look at your leather and see what they can do.
Next time have the leasor take care of stuff like this BEFORE you sign the papers and give them your money.

Why replace it? Since it's a leased vehicle...your actually fixing up a banks car for free while paying them interest.
Unless you plan to keep the car after the lease, which is going to cost TONS more with their residual...
