when i contacted the dealer they wanted $149
You pull it from the FRONT or even towards the outer edge of the FRONT.

The BACK is attached to the metal clip from the back seat.
$149 to pull this out????? What a damn rip-off for a 5 minute job (both back rest and bottom seat)

OKAY OKAY......WELL i got a lil help from my man.......The first time he tried to do it (a year ago) i had him pulling the back part first it didnt come out because obviously the bottom part had to come out first. SO after the detailed instructions that GS3Tek gave as far as pulling the FRONT corner up i Bit$#ed and Cried to my man that i think i figured it out and convienced him to go out and give it a pull for me so before he tried i tried again (feeling like i was gonna break my back) No luck so he came out and pulled from the front straight up and what do u know the damn thing came out!!!!

Now for MR. Banana's site it is a good site BUT something as simple as him not saying the FRONT corner costed me TWO broke Nails (That will take 2 months to grow back ) i need to contcat him and ask him to add that word in "Put your hand under the FRONT corner of your seat and pull it straight UP" it will save some not so knowledgable person like me some time and effort! AND another thing is the pictures he posted

This one he shows a hook thing it LOOKS like the hook in the back because of the way he shows pic #2 so thats why i was so confused.

See this looks like im suppose to pull from the back

And this is a GOOD way to show what your going for with this picture that GS3Tek CIRCLED it did the job

SoTHANKS to EVERYONE for the input and a special "Shout-Out" to GS3Tek
I will work on the back part of the seat tomorrow it SEEMS like its only bolts.......TTYL

~Kia

P.s. Thanks to Banana's site for the pics and info that aided a email was sent to him!

I'm glad got it figured out you Alexus --------crap, speaking like Yoda.
I can't take credit for what Banana did, with his time and effort into putting his site.
You should take that $149 and donate it to him, or half of that, or a third, well you know what I mean

We're here to help

I wish I could've documented (like Banana did) some of the mods that I did to the car before I found CL
