so i just checked and sure enough i found one must have came loose on the palisades

uh, no it's not. I had this happen to me a couple weeks ago. I took it in to get codes pulled and it came back as a P304. Pretty sure any P300 code is for misfire, and the "4" denotes which plug was not firing. My CEL was blinking and I had maybe 1/2 power. Turns out my #4 coil pack was bad. Go get checked out.
Oh and be sure to change your oil immediately afterwards, since more than likely that raw fuel is being dumped into that cylinder with no ignition.

how much was a coil pack
I think the pack was somwhere in the neighborhood of $150-$200. I got out of there paying around $240.00 total. That was for the scan, the coil pack, and the 10 minutes of labor to install...lol
