Will the 2006 GS Wheels fit a 98? Has anyone tried?

 

Based on the specs, yes. Go for it. If you get the GS430 wheels, you will even get BBK clearance. No guarantees on how many BBKs but you should be able to fit most if not all.

 

can someone explain, the 06 GS300 are 5 spoke 17s and the 430 is the many spoked 18s?

costs? chrome?

 

06 GS 17s are 17x7.5 not sure offset- 06 GS 430 wheels are 5 spoke 18x8 +45 offset.

So Neo, you saying the 18" 430 wheels fit a Supra BBK? If so, that would be sweet.

 

I wouldn't doubt it, stock 06 430 brakes are huge- like 13.1 inch front with big calipers

 

to those who want to put the new gs430 wheels, just hold on until more 3rd gen people put on their wheels

i expect to see a flood of them later on

 

No one has tested this but like Chuck said, the 3GS430 has larger 4-piston brakes and there is definitely caliper clearance issue if you order aftermarket wheels. There is a good chance that these rims will clear the TTs but until someone actually test it, it is just a guess at this point.

 

Speaking of GS430 Wheels, I really think these wheels look VERY nice on the GS, they compliment the lines of the GS very well...

Those are actually 18's, def like those myself, trying to find a set for a second gen would def look nice as well.......
