check engine light

I was driving like fifteen min ago and the check engine light went on!!!!!
does anyone know if the check engine light comes on for oil changes?? It's been like 3900 miles since I had one, I don't know if that is why it is on? Also, does anyone know how to reset the check engine light?
I would really appreciate any info, thank you

go to auto zone and have them scan the coumpter. find out why its on. after that disconnect your battery for 30 sac.
