Blitz Intercooler Questions
GUYS
i posted a little while ago how i wanted to keep stay with a BLITZ theme
i love the exhaust ....so im going with gauges and FMIC
ive looked on Soaristo site http://www7.plala.or.jp/soaristo/
great site in case you guys dont know it ...lots of nice pics
here what he has done ...
i realllllly want to do something like this
any help would be greatly appreciated
i know i have to rerun the piping
but do you think this is something i can do my self ??

J, the blitz FMIC piping is a ***** to fit because they take a very strange routing that goes behind the headlights. It's gonna be hard to explain to you because you don't own a V300, but basically, after the piping goes behind the headlights, it turns at a 90-degree angle straight up to fit into the turbo outlet. I really don't like the way the piping route is designed because it may create turbulence. You should look into the HKS S-type FMIC which is what I have and the piping goes BELOW the headlights and curves at a nice S-angle to prevent turbulence.
You can also check supraforums.com. Those guys will ascertain to you too that the Blitz is really a PITA to install.
