anyone have any idea what those vents are for in the trunk? left and right side near the jack and tool kit area? looks like it has a rubber flap? these things are making alot of noise as far as vibrations? should i rip them out? pleaase help

but how do you know these are the culprits amking the noise

how do you know they are flapping

 

who can shed some light. i know because i can hear them, i even took the trunk lining off the sides, and turned up the sound . guess what i saw and heard, the rubber flap things on both sides shaking and rattleing, im ready to gut those things?? maybe its a ac stuff, but either way looks like you can remove the rubber flaps. just wonder if it needs to vent for some reaso? and what they are exactly???
