instrument lights gone dead?

I will have to look at this and find out nowi just tried, shut off teh car with the headlights on. yes, all the ac control lights are still one
Yes, I'm talking about when the headlights are on and the car is shut off, before the alarm is armed (before I even exit the car). My climate control lights above the nav stay on as do the Audio, Climate, Map, Destination, etc. button. The lights around the tape deck do not stay on though (Seek, Scan, CD, FM, Tape, etc). The gear selector stays lit too. After exiting the car and arming the alarm all the lights go off.
Just seemed odd to me that the radio controls wouldn't stay lit but the nav would.
