whoops forgot
1.jack up car..secure with jack stands
2. pull drain plug ..let it drain into whatever you have
3.put plug back in
4. fill up with 3-31/2 quarts of toyota IV trans fluid
5.start engine check level while engine is running
6. add the 1/2 quart if needed
7. drive around and check level again should be all good
see how is easy that was
you dont have to change the trans filter ..Lexus doesnt unless they think you have a trans problem ....
start to finish 1/2 hour to hour
if you have any questions please ask

wow, now I see why the dealer charges $100 for that
looks real complicated(sarcasm)
that looks easier than an oil change.

I drained and filled the AT fluid yesterday and only 2.5 quarts came out. I used a one-gallon pitcher with quart/fluid oz marker to determine how much was drained. My car was on Rhino ramps instead of jacks thus may explain why it is 2.5 instead of 3.5 quarts.

I will ask what they are doing before I take the plunge on the tranny service but I am under the impression the are changing the filter and doing a complete fill.
The bare minimum is going to be...
Timing belt - $530
Water Pump - $290
Crank Seal - $300
Total here is $1020
Show me before I take it in Monday on the drive belt so I can see if I can do the change myself...
if not I am getting this stuff for $480 more...
Drive belt
Tranny Service
Diff Service
the rest of the 30K service which includes new filters (AC too), oil change, ETC
They also said the $$$ included a 100K service (maybe they mean new plugs...)
