Talking Got a New GS3 Again (Pics)

Just got 05 GS300, the last of the legendary 2nd Generation, to replace my 02 GS3.

I wasn't really planning to do it, it just kind of happened. The lease on my 02 GS was expiring and i was deciding between MANY cars, both new and used. I stopped by the Lexus dealer to check out the new GS and i liked it a lot. But the price they had for AWD GS3 was over 51k, a little more than i wanted to spend. The car i really wanted was the GS430 but i need to make some more $$$$$ first.

Then just for the hell of it i asked the sales guy if he still had any 2nd gen GS left. He said they had only a few left, and they were offering a special lease deal on them. Basically the deal he offered me on the car really made me think about getting the 2nd gen GS again. IMO its still a great design and with a few tasteful mods it can look incredible.

The car that i got is basically identical to my old GS.....even the same color inside/out, Blue Onyx/Tan. I would of taken Black/Black but they didnt have any. Some of my family/friends think it was stupid for me to get the same exact car again, but the GS is an awesome car and i still enjoy it a lot, so why change? Hopefully in 2 years when my lease is up the GS350 will be out, if not then ill probably get a slightly used GS430. The aftermarket for the 3rd Gen should be pretty strong by that time.

Took a few pics of both GS3s. Pics aren't too nice(both cars are rolling on 16s right now) and the cars are a little dirty - weather sucks in NYC.

New GS

05/02 GS - Notice the HUGE difference in wheel gap/ride height of stock vs dropped.

wow, so you got the EXACT SAME car all over again

the good thing is-your mods will fit, and match

the bad thing is-no one will know you got another car

up to you, but IMO at least mod this one differently
