I traded my Audi A4 with GS400. I love my new Lex. I have 17x7.5 AT italia S5 rims. They are Audi S4 rims knockoffs. Since, I don't know jack about cars..I was trying to put my Italia rims on my new Lex. but somehow my brake rotors are touching my rims. someone recommended to put spacers. would anyone know how my rims would look on GS400 and most imporatantly, would spacers cause any ride problems for me. Please take in consideration that I live on bumpy NJ roads.

thanks in advance...

1. 17s are too small for upgrades.
2. spacers no problem.
3. no knock-offs on Lexus (whenever I hear knock-offs I think Manaray will jump out and lecture )

When it comes to spacers it can get a little complicated.

The 5 bolds/stunds that hold each wheel in place are quite short and may not be enough if you put in spacers (perhaps if you go 1/5 inch it could work).

H&R have spacers that comes with replacement studs. I don't know how tricky it is to do that.

H&R also have a spacer that is a full inch that looks like this:

First you fasten the spacer to the car just like you would with a wheel. And then put the wheel on the spacer's studs.
