Thanks for the compliment
Yes that is my ride....
LexusRules, sorry I did not mesuare the height of the spring perch when I was lowering it. I had to go through the trouble of taking the rims on and off for at least 5 times until I got the perfect height. And that was for all four wheels. Can't just do one side since they have to be balanced. I found out that by raising the rear right side would lower the front left suspension.
Thanks to clublexus I decided on the purchase of my GS4 back in may of last year. Then I went with the Blitz expedia springs as my first mod. Then the Blitz air intake. But as I found as that the springs were way too soft and actually made handling even worse than stock (my background in road racing), I went ahead and got the best suspension for the GS,
1. The Tein coil overs.
AFter that came the rims:
2. Lowenhart LD1 245/35-20 in the front and 275/30-20 in the rear.
Following that, the 20s made the whole car seem like a 4x4 so I had to go with a body kit. Wanted something simple and not too loud, so went with Blitz.
3. Blitz front bumper
" rear bumper
" side skirts
" nose grill
Veilside spoiler - a very different approach to spoiler engineering. Most spoiler point up at the sides but this one actually curves down which accentuates the lines of the rear quarter panel without it being too extreme. I did not want the blitz spoiler because most civics and accords and other imports already have that kind of style on their cars.
Most of you already noticed the rear tail light being all red. But one thing you all didn't notice is that my emblems says GS4 instead of GS400. I ordered my GS400 without any emblems and then ordered a set of black chrome emblems. AFter I picked up my car from the dealer, I took the 400 and cut off the two zeros. So it says GS4. I will take a pic of it when I get a chance.
Last month I just picked up a 94 miata. This is my second miata ( my first one I had sold and regreted it big time!) so this one is ready to have a turbo kit installed which puts out 270 hp at the wheels. that's way more than the GS400 and does a low 12s in the quarter mile. After I got the miata, I haven't even started my GS4, the miata gives you a 100 point fun factor in a scale of 1 to a 100. The GS4 only gave me a 60. My supercharged M3 gave me a 85.
Anyway, thanks for the compliments!
