Default Steering wheel emblem

Hi. I bought a used gs430. The emblem on the steering wheel has the chrome rubbed off. All the emblems kits I found for sale don't appear to include this one. I saw a post that said the engine? emblem from an SC is about the same size as the steering wheel emblem. Is this correct? Where can I find the right size emblem for the steering wheel? Thanks.

I was told by the guy at Lexus that the whole thing needs to be replaced. Forgot what price he quoted but I think it was an outrageous $900, but don't get me to lieing.

Default emblem

Thanks for the info. It looked like a simple glued on emblem but apparently that's not the case. The previous owner must of been a nervous driver because it looks like they continuously rubbed their thumb across the emblem and it's down to the white plastic. It's really just an eyesore.

i was just thinking, since it's like this already, maybe you can just get some paint and paint it silver or something

Buy a used one with good chrome and resell yours. You'll take somewhat of a hit but some bodyshop should buy it if they really need it.

I bought mine used for my SC and the chrome was just fine.
