The light that illuminates the letters under the shift plate went out today, as did the one for the drivers side heated seat button. Small things like that really erk me, and i would like to fix them. How do i get underneath of that to change the lights?

you can lift the wood shifter panel with a little screw driver. dont forget to becarful not to cover the screw driver to prevent scratches. i normally lift from the arm rest side, that seems to be the easiest. underneath, youll be able to figure out what to do next.

 

Thanks, any idea on what kind of lights it uses so that i can purchase these before i get in there for the surgery?
