Now the sensor on the brake has to be messed up because now when i press the brake on the remote start the engine no longer shuts off like its supposed too... it just keeps on running, so is there a wire sensor on a lexus that may have accidently been cut or a fuse that may have been blown? any help please!!

hold on there buddy....as long as the key is in the ignition-the brake RELEASES the alam and the autostart and of course the car keeps running

the car only shutsdown when there is no key in the ignition and the brake is pressed

yes i know that, im talking about when the key is not in the ignition and i press the brake the car does NOT shot off, therefore it has to be a wiring problem because before i ran my power wire thru my drivers side when i pressed the brake the car did shut off.

i told you, the car is not recognizing the fact that you are pressing the brake. Yes, sure it does still stop when u press the brake but thats besides the point. I told you what you're problem is, if you think otherwise, then i might be wrong

Could this be a blown fuse??? i did mess with the fuse box under the hood.. i unscrewed it to have easier acess to run my power wire for the amp

I think it has something to do with the fuses under the hood, becuase the fuses under there are for ABS and the abs light is on in the car, i remember fiddiling with it but i dont know how to check to see if the fuses are blown or not how let me know

thats why you cant shift

its a safety to let you know that you're brake lights are out

also that why your gauges might NOT be lit another safety

CHECK ALL YOUR FUSES and check all your bulbs

good luck let me know

you need a light tester ?

to see if they are getting power

just find a good ground and touch the metal on top of the fuse
