have a question about the 3M film. did you get it from stonegaurd or x-pel. also, id there a difference is the color of the paint with the 3M film on. I have a black car!!! I did call stonegaurd and was told that the hood part is cover all the way to the edge so you couldn't tell.

I had mine done from my dealership they offer it there and you cant tell the diffrence if its done right especialy on black cars since mine is black too and the only time you would actualy notice it is when the car gets dirty I mean real dirty cause the edge of the M3 gets to be a lighter color from the dirt but as soon as you wash it its gone so you dont have to worry about that and I had mine for about 2 years before I removed it and it never changed color or started fadding or pealing the only reason I had it removed is because Im gonna get a bodykit and I was going to repaint the whole car but I still have my light covers on I wonttake those of they help alot and they preserive the quaility of the lights so if you plan on selling it just take them off and it would look brand new

 

by the way I see you have the SRT HFI/UCE did you install the ECU by yourself or had someone do it for you if so how did you do it and what are the steps

I installed the ECU myself and wasn't hard at all. It comes with complete pictures along with step by step instructions which makes it possible for anyone to do.
