Exhaust Help?
Hello Guys/Gals,
I have a GS400 on order which is currently in route down to Florida. I am looking for an aftermarket muffler/exhaust but want to keep the fitment within the stock rear cutouts on the GS body.
What is the diameter of the cutout space on the stock rear bumper fascia in inches?
I am looking to go with a muffler that will fit in the stock cutout.
Thanks for your help!
Theo

Thanks Cin,
I will consider the L-Tuned in my search for an exhaust.
Can someone let me know what the measurement is for the diameter of the cutout space in inches? If somone can just take a tape measure and measure on the car and let me know, That would be great!
Thanks

The opening is a little bigger than 5", maybe 5 1/2". The opening tapers in so there is less space on the inside of the opening. The outside may be a little bigger than 5 1/2" but I tried to measure the narrowest part. Sorry that it could not be more accurate. It was hard to measure since my exhaust tips protrudes and is in the way so I just eyeballed it.
Hopefully this is a close enought number to be helpful.
