Default New Shoes

Thanks to Darrel at Sewell Lexus... Great person and Company to do business with... and they still have TRD L-Tuned parts!!!

My new L-Tuned 17" Wheels arrived today. VERY NICE!!! Made in Italy... just call me the antiJDM...

Very light, supposed to be 20lbs... No not Volks light, but no Volks price either. Does anyone know how these compare to the factory chrome 17" in weight??? I would think lighter.

Pics tonight of wheels... Pics next week on car...

I am really excited about these, they look great and I get to eliminate some bling with a sportier look, and I have not seen 1 GS from Tampa to Miami with these wheels so I am excited about being different.

My L-Tuned conversion is now almost complete...

Badges Anyone???

I know most everyone frowns on the smaller sizes and widths but I enjoy freeway speed more than dig takeoffs so I appreciate the less rolling resistance the 8" width provides over the staggered sizes... and lips just seem to 80's 4 me...

Yes, the others are the Salinas. 18" and impossible to buy new unfortunately... The Salinas are my favorite by far...

but these are really nice, much better in person than in pictures. The curves of the wheel are lost in 2D...

Did you get them with tires? The wheel/tire combo from Sewell is very tempting. But I think i'm going to hold out for some wider wheels. I've gone this far, why not go a little further

About the wider wheels, is the rolling resistance really that much more to notice an impact on gas mileage?
