Just hit the Lexus website, and went through building my gs430. Something seems to be missing from their list of options now. The nav system was not an available choice as it has been in the past. Any ideas as to why?

Well, it could be that they are no longer offer the Nav-only option because it wasn't popular or it could be because Lexus makes more money selling it in combination with the Mark Lev system (in other words, they "force" the "optional" ML system on ya)...

I don't remember ever seeing a Nav-only system in any 2001 GS...

NAV wasn't there at all. not bundled with the premium package or ml package, and didn't show up in the summary either

Probably did it to simplify the web site. It's still available separately or in the same packages as it was before.
