What is the difference between the Lorinser LD1's and the Lowenhart Ld1's, if they are the same, which brand is better? Thanks

Default for diff cars

Lowenhart LD1- japanese brand, very very high quality if not one of the best in the world, def a choice for the gs

Lorinser- a German tuner for Mercedes Benz; not bad if you have a benz and like its products. imo, i would not put benz tuner wheels on a lex. most of the tuners do not have mfg their own wheels, though i am sure quality is up to TUV safety standard. sometimes these german wheels may not have the corect offset and bolt pattern for japanese cars. you either need adapter, or re-drill the holes. i would NOT recommend these wheels.

there are sooo many wheel choice s for the lex, especially the lowneharts. if you like the LD1s(lowenharts) and have the budget, you will not be disappointed.

I don't think Lorinser has a rim called the LD1...they have a LM1 and RS1...but at any rate, what GS4Will said is true and I agree with him on not putting Benz tuner rims on a Lexus. That would be putting Lsportline or Ltuned rims on a Benz...just weird.

As for as tuners not mfg their own wheels, here's an example...Brabus's rims are made by Ronal...you know, that guys that make the "Teddy Bear" rims...funny, but true.

I'm not sure who makes Lorinser's rims though...
