L-Tuned Side Skirt Installation Help

do you have to remove the old clips? what if you just leave it in place, would the l-tuned skirts fit right over it?
i received my skirts without new clips so i was going to go without the new clips for the install...i am not saying i want to re-use the old ones...but just wondering if the new skirts would fit right over without breaking off the old clips...or would they be in the way?

i would love to find some also sam, i just installed mine a month or so ago and i noticed last night while my car was on the rack that some of the clips are already broken and i bought BRAND NEW clips when i installed them

i got them when i ordered my motor mounts so it was efficient with the shipping costs. i had to PM darrell though to get the right part # (i think it was the ) i looked back at my old order but on the new system they dont list the part # of stuff you ordered just a description. i ordered 20 of them (it takes 18 i think i recall) so i would have a extra or two though i might recommend ordered 25 or so as i broke one or two installing them.

U bought Lexus brand body clips from Sewell???
Dood u really must like wasting money. Every Autozone has a body clip rack loaded with every size u could want. I bought a box of burly clips ment for GM cars. They are bigger and stronger than the OEM ones. A box of 20 is like under 5 bucks.

A box of 20 is like under 5 bucks.FYI i sized those clips AND bought some and they didnt fit well.... i have used the GM clips in different places on my lexus but in this application they didnt work well for me
again though.....WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT I SPEND MY MONEY ON? you dont earn my salary at either job so let me spend my money how i want to please. i know the cost saving methods i have used them both. if you notice in the chrome trim one im the one who did the DIY i just didnt wanna go back with it and thats MY choice. the clips i did try them and they didnt fit well IMHO
