Default Vibration after 60pmh

Hey guys, hopefully someone here has experienced what my car is doing.....

a while back (about 8 months ago) i had new tires put on and brakes done. The guy that did the brakes didn't replace my rotors, only cut them.

Anyhow, ever since then the car has been vibrating at speeds above 60 mph. It vibrates exessively from about 60 to 70 mph then becomes nice and smooth again..

I thought it may have been the rotors that weren't cut right, so I replaced the front rotors and pads.
I still get the same effect. I had the tires balanced several times and the mechanic claims they are fully balanced.

What do you think it could be?

You hit on the usual suspects......

warped rotors
bad alignment
bent wheel
out of balance wheels

if you never had that problem before, i say it's wheels balance or alignment.

also check the tire pressure.
I had that issue when I upgraded to bigger wheels and tires. Its obvious that bigger tires will be more sensitive to road conditions. Lately here is denver, the weather has been warm and cold and I noticed that my tire pressure changed more often and it caused vibrations. Now I check the pressure more often to make sure that I have nice even pressure for all tires and it definitely helps. I bet you have checked it already but just wanted to share my experience.
Good luck.

Were they "road force" balanced on the Hunter machine? If not, that could be your problem. I had a similar problem and I went through various balances a few years ago on my other car ( T-Bird) until I found out about the road force balancing, which fixed the vibe issue.

Discount Tire does the Hunter Road Force balancing, among others. Good luck.

if you have rims they may be bent. thats what my problem is and i currently have that problem. I had the wheels balanced on the Hunter machine and it did improve, but it dont not completely fix the problem. The Lexus mechanics said it was because of my bent rims.
