Many have done this. The result is not optimal since it is HID lighting in halogen housings. The light is not as focused. Still, it is a nice upgrade since it does produce more light and color (depending on bulb).

Neo, any bulb you would recommand? right now I have the Philip 6000k. If I want it to be brighter than this, any recommandation?

Thanks

I assume we are still talking about HID kits (bulbs & ballasts). If you want maximum light output, you'll need the OEM 4100k bulbs (sometimes labeled as 4300k). The light is not as white, though.

if you want anything brighter than 6000k, that's the stock 4100k. anything away from that is not as bright

I got a HID conversion kit for my GS300, for some reason one of them doesn't like to turn on the first time I turn the lights on, so I almost have to turn on the lights, turn them back off, then turn on the lights again, for both lights to come on. Does this happen to other people too?

nop, i never have that problem. usually this means you have some problems:

1) bad ballasts
2) bad relays
3) soemthing is applying pressure on the ballasts

To add to the possibilities (which was in my case) :

4) faulty wiring/connection on one of the HID bulbs
