Default Fender Flares.

Does anyone think that small fender flares, such as these, look awesome!? I love the small fender flares, and am thinking of doing this.

I have a friend that works at a body shop and will do everything for free if i buy materials. So it shouldn't be too much right?

John

That body work is insanely well done and that paint job is gorgeous!!! I love that color. Looks like a candy apple red with a hint of metallic.

Plus its got engine mods You can see IC piping in the front bumper

i have a widebody on my car (not the GS but the prelude) ........ the thing with that is that you really have to make sure that its done properly SPECIALLY if your car is a daily driver ..... If its not done properly, the mould will start cracking and then ur pretty much ************. So yea it looks really pretty but i wanna emphasize that make sure its done right ..... done right mean lots of metal work and welding ....not just fiber glass and bondo moulding .....TRUST ME ON THIS

and i agree its just not the fender flares but the front and rear bumper are wider too ...

He does not have a widebody kit. All he has is molded fender flares with a Explosion style kit. IMO there not so nice in person. If u look at a silver or black GS they have a slight fender flare but its squared not rounded. With these it looks like 2 stepped flares. A square with a smaller crescent. The paint and the turbo on the other hand with those Iforged aeros is Hottttt.

yummy

Makes the car agressive, but still so subtle, that most ppl won't notice! I didn't the first 15 or so times i looked at it! Will give greater potential for greater offset, deeper lips, fantastic!!!

I have seen my guy do fender flares before, and i know he's good at it. If you live on the east coast and go to some of the MA, NJ, PA, DE shows, you might have seen some of his work. Waiste High Customs. <- Well what used to be, it's in the process of changing now. But i know he can do it. I'm going to look into this mod a little more.

Also, update on the SC430 mirrors, can't seem to find anyone to do it, and as i looked at it more and more, although i like it, It's not a job that i am willing to jump on right now. Maybe down the road. Just not a job i can tackle at this moment. Maybe in the near future it will cross my mind, and i will find the funds to do it!

Thanks,
John

having flares with wide wheels could look awesome on the GS. but imho it's not easy to do a nice flare on the GS and make it look smooth and nice

honestly, the one in the pic i don't really like the flares. somehow it's too "round" and "circle" looking
