Default 2000 GS rear spoiler loose

I have a factory installed rear spoiler on my 2000 GS400 that is loose. The car has over 100k on it, so I'm out of warranty and I don't really want to take it in just for this. Does anyone have any access to documentation or instructions that would show me how to get to the attachment bolts so I can tighten this up? It looks like I need to take out the interior carpet trim but I don't want to break the clips or make things worse.

Open your trunk. At the bottom of each end of the overhang of the spoiler you will see a cover. Use a screw driver cover with masking or electrical tape and gently pry the cover off. This is held in place by a velcro like holder. Once you remove it you will see two bolts which you can tighten to the bracket that is attached to the trunk. In addition, the wing is held in place with double sided tape at the part where the wing touches the trunk.

I saw those covers and looked at those, they were tight. I was thinking there was other bolts, but it's held on by double stick tape? There's no other bolt attachments besides those one on the end?

Correct. The covers are held in place with velcro-like mount. Yes it is very tight. There are only two bolts to each side of the wing. The bracket is riveted to the trunk. The rest of the wing is held in place with double sided tape. Use floss or fishing line to loosen double sided tape between the wing and trunk.
