MAINTENANCE, GS300: Easy?
I need to replace the "Inline-6 Cyl Multi Rib Belt" for my 1998 GS300.
Anyone know how easy this is? Can you post the steps. Looks like its as easy as replacing/tightening an alternator belt but I don't want to guess.
Thanks in advance.

I have the tool to remove the belt. But I'll have to stop by work and get it. Let me know when you want to do it. It takes just seconds to do it.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Will!
I just ordered it a few days ago with a batch of other tune-up supplies (Toyota Oil Filter, Denso Iridium plugs, etc) If you can PM me your number, I'll call you when it arrives!
Thanks Again,
Darius

I donn't know why the arrow is pointing clockwise. Correct me if I'm wrong. But on the motor the pivot point for the tensioner is just below and to the right of the pulley. (Approximately 5o'clock position from the pulley). If you turn it clockwise it would tighten the belt. I usually turn it counterclockwise when changing those belts. Even on the V8s. I wish there was a caption that came with this illustration. That way we would know what the author was trying to depict. Sorry for the confusion.
