Default Phase 2 Almost Complete +Pics -56K

Thanks for being patient with me while I got the car where I wanted it. It took a year but I finally got the car to a point that I am almost done. For now anyway. Phase 1 was the audio...Complete (Check Signature). Before this phase is done I will need to install the mufflers with custom oval tips, cross drilled / slotted rotors, and '01 tails.

My Satifaction level.... 9.9

Not quite a 10 because 1.) I still need an alignment (Appt is for Saturday) and 2.) The caliper paint, though complimented daily, is not what I expected. Its not even close to the same color Gold as the car and it looks plastic and clumpy. So anyone that knows how I can remove the paint and get custom color matched "Lexus Burnished Gold" PM me or post here. Thanks in advance.

Please comment. Any and all feedback is appreciated, even negative - there'll be no hard feelings

First set of photos shows the lips and the shine after polishing.

I like Big Lips and I can not lie....:

Nice Polished Shine. Almost looks like chrome

Next set of photos is of the Espelir drop. I LOVE IT. My BIGGEST FEAR was that the ride would be too rough or bounce like a Honda with cut springs - but it's VERY CLOSE to stock. Thanks to everyone that helped me decide, can't remember everyone but here's the thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ht=lowest+drop

I got a message that there are too many photos in this post so I have to split it up...stay tuned....

Next, the clouds parted for a while so I went out to take a few shots. Just imagine that the Vanillaroma air freshener is a Junction Produce Agemaki Knot Fusa ( Ordered quite a while ago...just messing with you John ).

Hope you like. I should have gotten a close up to show the different sets of locks on the wheels, its kinda' funny .

Phase 3 includes Junction Produce Tail lights, Junction Produce rear wing, and Viper GPS tracking.

looks good to me, love those iForgeds too.

Did you apply the caliper paint yourself? Was it the G2 system? I planned on painting mine with those. From what I can see the paint doesn't look bac.

Thanks. Yes, it was the G2 system. Its HARD to apply. It starts off extremely runny and thats where my problems were. I think if I would have waited about 30 minutes for the paint to thicken it would have worked better. Thanks again.

LOL. No, break cleaner comes with the G2 system and the paint turns into a protective coating. It's like heat proof rubber ....or something. (???).

Thanks Sieze! It is dropped. I have 19s, live in the Bay, and usually have the trunk full of one thing or another so this is "almost" as low as I can go and still drive around.

GS4Fun: I didn't think of painting over the paint. I think I would just go to black calipers with white decals but I REALLY REALLY REALLY want them color matched to the paint. Think a custom paint shop could do it???? Would it resist the heat?

Panda: Thanks! I have been seeing a lot more Burnished Goldies in this area too but none that mave any mods...hopefully it stays that way. Is your GF open to modding her GS?

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
