Default engine cooling fan

Is there any reason that my cooling fan would be constantly runnning. Even when my gs is ice cold i start it up and the fan starts running. The AC is off and every thing. Anybody else had this problem or know what i could do?

Could be a faulty coolant sensor or relay.

My GS currently has this problem.

I havent had time to deal with it.

Im thinking temp sensor for radiator is done...or i've heard somethings regarding the disconnection of this sensor by oil change shops so that it will remain running to cool the block. Did you just have ur oil changed somewhere?

That shouldnt be the prob with mine, since i do my oil at home.

anyway, let me know if you figure it out and ill do the same

Is your climate control set to defrost?
If so, the AC system is on, even if the indicator light says otherwise. The AC system greatly reduces the time required to defrost the windows and your fans are turning on as part of the system.
