I noticed that aux fan is not turning on so I am pretty sure that is the problem. Also, is the sensor that tells it to turn on another possibility. Is there anyway to test the fan. Should it come on when I turn the AC unit on

 

Absolutely right the sensor will indicate abt the aux fan turning on. Nothing is wrong with the car. When the a/c s/w is turned on, the aux. fan would not come on until the engine temp is reached a specific temperature. You will observe this by turning on the engine and the a/c s/w.And you will see the aux. fan would come up after a very long time.
