Hello Everyone,
I'm fairly new to Club Lexus and enjoy all of the info. I purchased my dream Crystal White 2000 GS300 about a year ago and am ready to make some modifications. Does anyone know where I can get side view mirrors with the signal lights on them for my car? I also plan on adding the Clear Bumper lights and chrome rims in the near future.

 

Hi Ladyt, welcome to ClubLexus! Congrats on your purchasing your dream car, and good to see you're prepped up to do some mods to it.

I'm not exactly sure on where to purchase those mirror signal lights, but I have seen a few of them installed from other members, including 2001HiTechGS and Kendu14 (both have silver GS's). You can find pics of the mirror lights in this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=104056 (the particular lights from that thread are from a MB CLK, so I'm pretty sure the actual lights were transferred from the CLK to the existing GS mirror housings and molded in by a body shop).

I see that you're from CT. Whereabouts are you from? We have a good number of CL members from this state, and even much more from the tri-state region.

A few peeps have done custom mods....like the pic above, while some have bought the covers to fit over the existing side mirrors....only issue is some minor fitment problems with them covers.

I'll make sure that I take some holiday weekend pictures of the Lex this weekend. PHML that's exactly what I'm looking for. I think that they're a nice touch. Thanks for the info, I check it out.

I'm from the Greater Hartford area and my vanity plate reads "Lextasy"

 

Mirror covers - not as clean but works. The Tom's is the one available. You or the bodyshop will need to do some heating/reshaping of the covers since the covers are configured for JDM right hand side drive cars. There was actually another cover but I can't find it right now.

Custom - You will need to get whatever lights you like (for example from MB cars) and have the shop cut and mold the lights onto your current mirrors.
