I just finish installing the 01 gauge rings on my y2k
GS4. I would say it took about 2 minutes.
Heres the trick you have to order the left and right
turn signal and odometer reset (harness )wich cost about 60 bucks. That's it enjoy.

Hi jlex,

Thanks for sharing! I'm interested in the same mod, great to hear it'll work. Do you have the parts numbers on hand (harness, etc)? If you do, please post them.

WOW! GREAT.

Will the 2001 Gauge ring assembly slap right onto a 2000 GS3?

It's a whole chunk of plastic, not just a face piece right?

Globeclk,It will fit youre gs300 prefectly,no tools involed.

$60 for everything!? I'm assuming you replace the whole guage surround molded plastic piece... how did you get the old one out?

bitkahuna,60 dollars just for the harness the cluster
frame it's about 75 dollars.

so the total is 135 for changing the old gauge cluster to the new gauge cluster?

where did you get the parts?
where can i get the parts?

how do I take out the cluster? thanks!!!
