I agree, if the owner thinks it looks good, more power to him.

to each his/her own. i considered the VLS doors for my 2-door (modded TT Stealth) but i opted not to. however, i wouldn't put them on the GS. i think the suicide doors are more suitable (appealing maybe) for a 4-door in general because the look incorporates all 4 doors. but, i'm not too sure i'd do those either.

...but apparently i've stirred a hornet's nest here since there are mixed feelings. I am NOT going to do this mod believe me. I just saw it for the first time last night and I thought it didn't look half as bad as some folks here made it out to be. Maybe coz of the angle the picture is taken that semi-hides the rear doors. But it really "muscle-ized" the GS and makes it look a lot more powerful than it really is. That aristo pic also happened to have a single Trust T-88 turbo kit and 6-sp Getrag transmission conversion, and 800cc injectors. If my guess is right, that Aristo is pushing way over 500hp to the wheels and in my books, that gives it every right to put lambo doors (or shoot, whatever he wants) on his car.
I thought they made 320hp but do to the "Gentleman's Agreement" it was LISTED at 280?

You are comparing apples to oranges. Nowhere in that pic did he ever put any other car maker's emblem to show that he is any other car than what he truly is. Dude, you've seen a LOT of cars here on CL or other forums that got away with a lot of stuff just because they hold the title of "most money spent" or "highest HP ever" and most of the time, these guys really got away with a lot of things because everyone says so. What I really meant with my above comment before was that he could get away with doing the lambo doors and still getting a lot of respect because he backed up all that look with the mega hp he has on his car. That's all.

Besides I did say "in my books", didn't I?

Now go slap on an Enzo emblem and turbo your car to 600hp and watch me get on my knees and scream "I am not wooooorthy"

Naaah, only the American-destined Supra 2JZ engines that push out 320hp. Our Aristos only got the smaller ceramic turbos and the smaller injectors. There's no way that my car (or any other Aristos in fact) can push 320hp rolling off the factory floor. I do know for a fact that JDM Skylines, Subarus and Evos are severely under-rated, coz of that "gentleman's agreement".
