well to be honest.. you can say nothing is for a lexus.. i mean body kits on 4 door luxury cars? performance on a 4 door sedan.. i see people throwin cash into TT or SC kits.. i mean were those made for a lexus? i think its a mod just like something else.. i dont see why lambo doors belong only on certain cars when every other mod can be on any car.. i think a mod is a mod.. it belongs on any car.. but its up to the owner...
hope this is understandable

RA40, I hear where u a coming from... but if you think about it, some people spend $6000 on rims, $10g's on a system etc.... that also would be considered spending money to lighten the wallet.

For me IMO, a mod is a mod.

In Japan, where the GS is an Aristo, the V300 comes wiht the 2JZ I-6 turbo for 320hp. The mods people do are extensions of that begining no matter V-8 or I-6.

Lambo doors do not seem that bad on a 2-door. It looks asinine on a 4 door.

might not look as good as a 2 door car but doesnt mean it doesnt belong.. i mean you guys hate NEONS and LEDS and alot of people say they dont belong on a lexus.. but isnt this a personal preferance?
also u can order pickup trucks that are supercharged.. hummer h2 that have superchargers.. this doesnt mean they belong? they just have options.

I'm with 1sick here. I could see thinking about lambo doors on a 2 door like an SC. Heck it might even look pretty hot on a new SC. But it's just dumb on a 4 door.

280hp....we only get 280hp....we got shafted here coz we only got the dinky ceramic turbos and smaller injectors......

...but apparently i've stirred a hornet's nest here since there are mixed feelings. I am NOT going to do this mod believe me. I just saw it for the first time last night and I thought it didn't look half as bad as some folks here made it out to be. Maybe coz of the angle the picture is taken that semi-hides the rear doors. But it really "muscle-ized" the GS and makes it look a lot more powerful than it really is. That aristo pic also happened to have a single Trust T-88 turbo kit and 6-sp Getrag transmission conversion, and 800cc injectors. If my guess is right, that Aristo is pushing way over 500hp to the wheels and in my books, that gives it every right to put lambo doors (or shoot, whatever he wants) on his car.
