you should ask the dealership that they might let it slide thats what they did to me in theory anything you add to the engine voids your warrenty but in some cases they let things slide so just ask before you do any kinda mod to your car

99% of the time the dealer will say NO to mods. I think the best way to get by is to get to know a service rep really well. After you kick it with him and get to know him and stuff, then you start your mods. Rather than say "you should not do that, it'll void your warranty, etc.etc." he'll say "looks cool. How many HPs did the exhaust give you?"

Not to sound like an *******, but I'd do more than "think it should be o.k."........your warranty, once gone, is GONE!!!!!!! Labor at most dealerships is $65/ hr and parts are absolutely a horror!!!! You don't want a nasty surprise and going to another dealer who doesn't know you won't fix it......your VIN # is, as you know, in the Lexus database and they'll no doubt heat up the keyboard with details of your transgression.

I agree with biggie and Globe. Better know or you'll blow.

another thing you can do is drive alot and use up ur mileage warranty. So you won't feel so bad if you don't have warranty afterwards~ j/k sounds like a bad way.

Or you can hear things from other Lexus people like us about your dealership. Like if you live close to one, listen to what people have to say about their attitudes towards mods or which particular guy doesn't care as much.
