Default Big Weekend Of Mods

Ok, I am going to be one busy **** this weekend.

My buddy is going to help me ( he has all the tools and a nice garage to work out of)

So here is the list of what I am doing;

New drilled and slotted rotors
Axxis brake pads
Stainless steel lines
Clean and paint calipers
Apply Lexus caliper stickers
Torq Master plugs
Cold air intake

I'll take picks and post them as soon as I can.

Thanks guys. I have a little insurance that I won't be busting anything since my buddy has a compressor and all the air tools I could ever need. Plus, I have wrassled with the brakes before so I know a few secrets.

The intake, very good question. I actually have a buddy who was fabricating an intake for himself. I helped him out, and to pay me back, he did a little research and took some measurements and built one for me. I will post pics of it once it is installed.

Your buddy sounds a lot like lexforlife. Maybe he has a clone!

Sounds like you are going to be pretty busy this weekend. What kind of paint are you using for the calipers? Good luck and make sure you post some pics when its complete

I have hi-temp caliper paint. I think you guys will like the final product when I get done. I am going to try something new that I have not seen on a lexus caliper before.

Default FINALLY!!!! :)

Ok guys and gals,
I finally got some pics of my brakes. I also did a little something extra the other day durring lunch.

The brake install was a PITA (paint drying time) but went well and makes a huge difference in the way the car stops. Stops on a dime now.

Great job....looks like you peeled of them stickers off after spraying the calipers. You should slap on a few coats of Hi-Temp clearcoat for the bling effect.

Any plans to upgrade your wheels? cuz them 16" stockers really hide them beautiful rotors/calipers.

Btw....where did you get your rotors, pads, and ss lines? Were they affordable?
