just bought the April issue of the Japanese "Auto Fashion Stage" magazine, the first ad in there is the new Volk Racing LE37 series wheels.

In this line of wheels they have the LE37A (SE37A lookalike with silver color), LE37K (SE37K lookalike with silver color), LE37W (SE37W lookalike with silver color), and the LE37T (TE37 lookalike, alittle different.) All these wheels have a thick lip now, so I assume the "L" in LE stands for LIP.

Does anyone know about these wheels and how good they are? On the ad, the K and the W were on a black GS and it looks TOTALLY COOL.

Being Rays/Volk, I can't imagine they would be anything but EXCELLENT. Doesn't look like their website is updated yet.

I wish they would make more of their rims in 19" and 20". But then again, they are suppose to be racing rims so 18" is good enough I guess (even though a lot of the larger track cars...larger meaning Accord and such...run 19's...)

I wonder how a 19" or 20" LE/SE37W would look on a LS (lowered with a body kit of course)...in a brushed finish with a polished lip...hmmmm....

It scares me that Rays makes the following wheels also...wow, Centerline better start watching their backs!

I can't find any info or pics on any websites about these LE37s! (Googles returned 2 results and they're not even wheel related.)

I guess these wheels are so new they don't have any info on it yet. And plus the VOLKRACING.co.jp homepage is updated like once a year or so.

I'll try and scan my magazine today, now I gota go to school (11AM) I'll try and do that tonight.

Just discovered a new shop a couple of miles from home. It's stuck in an industrial section off the freeway. Called BOZZ Performance [Fremont, CA]. What a nice surprise! Lot's of cool, go-fast stuff and some nicely hopped up cars on premise.

Anyway, they had several nice pictures of the LE37K on a GS. Looks like the options are a dark silver/diamond cut lip or full diamond cut finish. Price is nice, too, at around $2200 for the 18x8.5/9.5 combination. They had several other of the new Volk models on display although they would have to order the LE37K.

Ok, so they are not reverse lip HRE's, but they look nice and they are light!

how did you dig up the thread that's 1 year old?

anyways, BOZZ performance tried to rip me off on some aero parts so I'm not gonna buy from them, but yeah they're in Fremont, real close to where my uncle lives.

A year old?! So it is... Been looking seriously at some new shoes and have been considering the LE37K. So I did a search and came up with this "recent thread" dated 4/5.

Sorry to hear about your experience with BOZZ. Were your transactions remote or did you deal with them live? How long ago?

well months time ago I decided to get a japanese grill that only BOZZ carried, and not only were they very slow in replying my E-Mails, they also marked the price up alot, and tried to charge me 150 bucks for shipping (from Fremont to LA? you gotta be kidding!)

Thanks. I try to shop local whenever possible because it generally keeps things simple. It's so much easier to strangle somebody standing directly in front of you!

yes they are really nice

those are the wheels i wanted so bad, i have the LE37K on a black GS i scanned but its not on this computer

they look SWEET

to bad they only come in 9.5" Diameter which means i have to go to the SE37K for wider, ray do you know the differences of the SE and LE? they look almost identical except for the centre cap (37K im talking about)

Went back and checked on prices for various coilovers and TOM's stuff. And checked again on the LE37K's. Like many I am struggling with the performance, diameter, looks, price equation. If only I could find ultralight, ultrastrong, great looking 19's for cheap that nobody else has!

I may pull the trigger soon, depends on the wife and how the taxes go.
