The HKS Hiper Dampers are really a coilover system. They are constructed of andodized aluminum and polished stainless steel. They offer 20+ way stiffness adjustability and over 3" of height travel. The springs that are used are progressive in rate. They retail at $2800 (little on the high side), but the kit comes with the Pillowballs mounts standard, versus the Tein HA where they are optional. Another plus, is that for the rear assembly, the kit comes with hardware that allows you to adjust the stiffness without pulling aside the trunk panels everytime. It has a nice extention component that mounts the adjustment **** through a tiny hole in the trunk panel. I can get pics if you desired.
I have The Hiperdampers myself and can say that I am very pleased with them. They offer much better stability over stock and surprisingly have a really good ride. I was concerned about the ride ( I had a set on my 94 Supra T/T) but was pleasantly surprised on how well it rides. As for a good deal, let me know where you are from and I can see where I can recommend for you to get a good deal on them. Reply back here or email me at jza8shwoff@aol.com
