Does anyone know how to remove the windshield defrosting vents? I think something must have dropped into the vent and I can now hear it sliding around whenever I make sharp turns.

 

If you're talking about the defroster that is at the edge of the dash and front windshield (and runs about 2/3 of the width of the dash), it looks from my factory pics to be held by clips. Just pull it up and out.
